Hmmmmm....

I wrote this awhile ago, and I don't know why I'm posting it here, but I figured I might as well... maybe decisions at 2 in the morning are the better made ones, eh?

*edit* I can't find what I was looking for... I think I deleted it when I reformatted accidentally... oh well, I'll find something else to put here eventually.

SHUT UP! I'll find it... It's a story about a kid and his dad that I wrote forever ago, I just don't know where it went... I really hope I didn't delete it, that would suck so hard...

Whats the story about?

Umm it was rather long actually about a dad and his kid although I was going to post the shortened version.. I can kinda remember it now, maybe if I just try to write it again it'll come to me. It was kinda cool as I remember.

A kid and his dad? What happens?
Well you could always try, did you hid it somewhere or something.

A man stares down at the creature before him, a twisted growl coming over its face.
Strange markings cover its body, reminding it of its test and trials.
The man stares for longer, examining the cloth draped over the creature,
Its status being exerted by the honor it holds from wearing such things.
It is a beast, a being of power and of disregard, and nothing can stop it in it’s ways.
The creature growls into his food dish, the hair on the back of it’s neck going up out of anger.
He grits and gnashes his teeth, knowing full well that nothing is to be gained,
But still he is forced to wander this prison.
Its nostrils flared, its eyes rigid, cold and unfeeling like a steel knife
The man watches as the thing snorts, a small grunt escaping in a guttural tone,
Nothing left to expect from a creature.
Its head raises, their eyes meet, and the man is lost in the anger and hatred behind those eyes.
He doesn’t bother trying to understand anymore, he knows that even if he does, he wont.
Just always cold and bleak, a reflection of an anger he never started.

“What do you want, dad?”

The man breaks contact. He stares down into his bowl, and says quietly “Nothing, nevermind.”

The boy goes back to his bowl, starting placidly at his cereal. He scoffs again and gets up,
Never caring what the others think,
Never noticing his father trying,
He just walks.


***This was the shortened version I finally found, I usually write a short and a long version of most of my stories. Oh well, I think the other one's gone for good... *tear****

lol I read your story, I just didn't know what to say... and didn't want to be the first, hah. It was pretty good man, don't worry about that.

oh that story has been ten years in the making if it wasn't good i'd kill myself but not everyone is gunna seat and rea dthose five giant paragraphs

Oh how the mighty have fallen

What have they done, what are they doing? The questions race feverishly about inside your head, the answers playing a coy game of cat and mouse, never quite visible but you always know they’re there. You stare hopelessly at the creature in front of you, it’s odd behavior and startling appearance taking you aback, not quite sure if to smile apprehensively or gape like a slack-jawed mouth-breather. You watch as it thinks, it plays, it screams, it cries, yet each time there’s something different about it. Sometimes it has queer markings about its body, little reminders of its tests and trails; sometimes it’s almost completely bare. The muscles have grown larger, the hair has grown longer, yes the creature has matured much in the physical sense of things, and yet the most intriguing and frightening thing about this mass of emotion and wit in front of you are the eyes, the eyes, grown most of all so cold and distant from your gaze, for they have found other things to look upon that warm their soul, and all you see now reflected in them is keen mockery of your fate and a sharp sense of reality, something which you too once had but it seems too long ago to remember. As you look longingly at the creature one day, it raises its head to stare back at you, and quietly whispers:

“What do you want, dad?”

“Nothing, nothing”

Everything.

omfg I found the original snippet I wrote forever ago along with a bunch of other random shit I wrote last year XD I apparently saved a bunch of it to my H drive like an intelligent person and them forgot about it like an absentminded one. WOOO!
