Redemption:
Werewolf vs. Vampire vs. Human

This rp is pretty much open-ended. You can be human, vampire, or werewolf. These character triats are your stereotypic creatures so they don't have special powers or magic spells, we are talking like Underworld and Van Hellsing beasts.

Everyone will begin in the hell hole that New York has become. Following WW 3, most of the humans in were wiped out by nuclear effects or the war which had carried onto the streets. Bodies litter the ground around the street, providing plenty of leftover meat for the night walkers. Werewolves and vampires who had once been in hiding were able to emerge from their cover and once again rule the world that belonged to them hundreds of years ago. However, some things never change.

Vampires are dire enemies of the werewolves and the few remaining humans are trapped in the center of the lifelong war. Some may form alliances which are forbidden between the two races, others will hold the lifelong grudge of their ancestors, and others will die as a result. You may begin in a vampire clan, werewolf pack, or in an isolated location where you are flying solo and meet up with the others on the streets or such.

Same rules apply, I will moderate and keep the forum flowing, but if you make a profile, then you have to post at least three times a week..I will not have this die like xmansion. Post your profiles in the thread titled "Redemtion Profiles" and await my approval.

No magic, or new powers, stick to the basics.

Alis sat in a small, uncomfortable chair located in the basement level of one of New Yorks abandoned buildings. There was one small window up by the ceiling at ground level where a small fading ray of sun could be seen shinning through the dark blue curtain. The sun was setting and Alice was quite alone for the night and wanted it to stay that way. Because she was awakened at a younger age, the other vampires she associated herself with were always treating her like a child even though she was far older then most of them, therefore she found comfort in being by herself from time to time.
At the moment her eyes were closed and her smooth black hair was hanging in her face. She would not go outside until it was completely dark and safe. The day had been a long one and the smell of blood had grown strong since the end of the war, making each day seem even longer. Her hands rested against the cold wooden arms of the tiny chair and she breathed in softly opening her eyes for a moment to glance once more at the window. Night had arrived. Alis stood up and reached into her leather jacket pulling out a hand blade she had gotten a long time ago. She slipped it on, gripping it securely before heading towards the stairs that would lead her to the familiar streets. Her black boots were surprisingly silent against the concrete floor she was walking across, and her breathing was very shallow. She was wearing tight, rugged black jeans and an intricately designed corset that emphasized her thin waist. She was very odd looking but something about her appearance made her beautiful to look at.
At the top of the stairs she swiftly headed for the door with an expressionless look on her face. Her eyes were dark and empty unlike the usual light silver color that they were. She walked straight out into the street letting nothing distract her.

Lora took her human form as she rushed out of the thin line of trees that remained and her feet hit the cemnt path that was the street. She sniffed th air lightly as she proceeded cautiously towards the city. The night was calm and the air was electric when she breath, sending quivers of uncertainty down her spine. though she looked human, her scent was still detectable only by her own kind. And though she looked human, that would not spare her for being seen as a snack for any vamp that had gone out seeking blood. Her shoulderlength dark brown hair hung wildly around her thin neck and her well built shoulders. Unlike her human hair, her fur was white, but that was only in wolf or here were-form. Her lips were a dark red with stain and she licked them lavishly as she strode towards a scent which was either human or vampire, either way she needed to eat. She knelt near to the ground nd kicked off, running at an astounding speed. she may have looked human, but her senses and her speed were just as accute as any wolf's.

Alis was surrounded in darkness now, glancing around the pavement. She spotted three corpses lying limp against the remaining brick buildings. One was a small woman with torn up clothing loosly clinging to her pale skin, and the others were young men entangled in a bloody mess. Her cold eyes flared at the sight of it. The deep red blood smeared on the street, now reflected in her dark grey eyes giving them a reddish tint. However, she decided against feeding on these pathetic dead bodies, and instead chose to hunt down a more appatizing, meal.
She headed down the street walking in the tall shadows of the crumbling buildings and remaining intensely alert. Ahead of her was a stone wall that was still standing and that went on for about a dozen yards or so. She gracefully jumped ontop of it and walked straight ahead, one foot infront of the other. She was headed in the opposite direction of the coven she supposedly belonged to and instead in the direction of the small human civilization she knew of just outside the destruction. It was on the other side of town but she needed a warm meal and surely would find someone accidently wandering about at night, perhaps walking home or simply enjoying the moonlight. The werewolves were also in that direction but she didn't let it bother her. She hadn't run into one of them in a long time and didn't expect to. She was strong but not quite as violent or vengefull as some of the others existing in the vampire coven, choosing not to participate in the war between the races unless approached. She didn't have to go looking for trouble.

Lora's sprint came to a quick stop as she crouched behind the wall of a small human hut. The few humans that had survived banned together, like bugs in the corner of a roach hotel. She licked her lips as she peered into one of the windows and watched as a young boy child was tucked into bed by what seemed to be his parents. She growled lightly as the lights turned off and she hopped up onto the windowsil and into the bedroom of the young boy. She would not kill him, she would make him watch his family die and then turn him into a werewolf just as she was. He would have no one in the world except the werewolf pack as an alliance. She snuck past the sleeping toddler and into the living room where two adults, one male and one female sat huddled around a small fire which cracked inside the stone fireplace. She laughed darkly and growled, barring vicious fangs from beneath her ruby red lips, making the pair turn around. The woman screamed and the man went to reach for his rifle, but both were already condemned. She lunged after the father, ripping his arm behind his back before his fingers ever reached that cool metal gun which glinted in the fire. She dug her fangs deep into his jugular to kill him without a fuss and she swallowed his blood lavishly, chewing the veins in her mouth for a moment before allowing the body to fall lifelessly at her feet. Now, the mother. She jumped against the wall, hung there parallel to the ground for a moment before kicking off and lunging on top of the mother. The mom screamed again and thrashed in attempt to reach her sleeping son, but to no avail. The boy emerged, drowsy eyed and confused. At the sight of his mother and father in terror he shouted and ran towards Lora and started hitting her on the leg with his balled up fist, one which still clung to his blankie. She kicked him against the wall and made sure that he watched as she lifted the mother into the air by the neck. With the twist of her hand, the woman's neck broke and she ceased to exist. She threw the carcas on top of the father and walked over to the boy, kneeling beside him and brushing his hair out of his eyes.

The child was in shock, paralyzed and afraid as she touched his skin and he shuddered away from the creature. "There there," she said in a dark voice as she wrapped him in a hug. "It's alright. You don't need them, you only need me," she whispered in his ear s as she gently bit the young man's shoulder an tasted the sweet blood of innocence. She released him after the were-gene had seeped into his blood system and he had fainted. She carried the boy in arm tenderly and went to the two bodies, lifting them off the ground in her other hand. She kicked the door open and walked quietly on the human streets. When she had cleared the houses she took her wolf form. The extraordinarily large white wolf took off into the night, two dead adults thread across her back with the crimson red blood staining her white fur, and a young puppy which moments ago had been a human, clasped between her powerful jaws.

As Alis approached the human society she slunk deeper into the shadows. Glancing around she noticed a slight movement off in the distance and her eyes immediately locked on the figure. It was white, clearly visible to her yet almost as soon as she had seen it the figure had vanished, taking off into the night. She sensed what it was by the familiar feeling she had gotten while setting eyes on the creature. Nothing had clearly given its identity away, yet she knew it was a werewolf. This made her slightly more uneasy, gripping tightly at the handblade still attatched to her fingers. She wasn't sure if other werewolves would be present or not, or if the one she had seen came alone. It didn't matter, if she had to she would fight but nothing was going to stop her from feeding.
She swiftly made her way deeper into the human territory, pausing for a moment and listening closely for movement. To the right she heard a dull metal sound, that of a gate being closed, and she quickly made her way over to the source. She snuck between two buildings and stopped at the edge, glancing around the corner.
There stood a man of about thirty-five, leaning over a pile of wood in what must have been his back yard area. Alis watched the man closely as he picked up a few small logs and turned to head back through the gate and inside his house. In a matter of seconds she was behind him, the rubber soles of her boots making no noise against the ground as she moved. She reached her hand out and gently set it on his shoulder. The man jumped and spun around quickly, his eyes wide with fear. At the sight of her he swung one of the logs he was carrying at her head, but her hand swung up and stopped it inches from her face. She stared into his freightened, green eyes for a moment and just as the man opened his mouth to scream she grabbed his arm and yanked him closer, biting into his neck. Her powerfull bite pushed her fangs deep into his skin and sent the man into a state of shock, causing the logs to fall to the ground. Alis's cold fingers wrapped around the limp body and held it close to her while the warm blood began to flow into her mouth and down her throat. Her eyes flared and a deep red flooded the silver color that surrounded her pupil. She dug her nails into the mans skin, her mouth pressed against his neck as she swallowed some more blood, giving her an almost intoxicating effect. When she finally let the man fall to the ground and wiped the blood from around her lips, her eyes returned to their normal silver color and she stared at the dying body infront of her. Without hesitation she steped over him and walked back the way she came. Her senses were much stronger now and the new energy surging through her veins began to take effect, making her stronger.
This time as she stood in the street, she noticed how noisy it was. She could hear almost every movement through the thin brick walls in this part of town, and she no longer felt a need to walk in the shadows. The innocence of humans was rediculous as well as frightening yet she knew not to underestimate them too much. Therefore, she walked through the rest of the town in the moonlight.

Lora shut her eyes tightly as she darted through a thick wall of water which spouted from the wall in a waterfall. She shook her head and the water flew off of her white fur, she was moving so fast that they seemed to linger in the air for only a moment before falling to the ground a few feet behind her. the young wolf pup stirred between her fangs as she darted, but she could sense the colony now. She tilted her head to the sky and howled between her shut jaws to let her pack know that she was quickly arriving. Her strong legs pulsed as she jumped form the ground and leapt into the trees, leaping from branch to branch and gaining height as she went. The werewolf colony had been created above the treetops, in a large tree for which was far off the ground to keep the vampires from tracking their scent. She struggled to make the final leap, the bodies weighing on her shoulders as she lunged for the platform. She landed, her hind paw slipping off of the wood before she scrambled onto the thick bark. Her powerful chest heaved as she struggled to catch her breath, but she had brought food back and she had fed so she would be exemplified. The gates were large and towered over her which made her feel insignificant beside it.

When she had emerged inside, two other soldiers came and removed the bodies to be thrown into harvest with the living and the already dead. When they reached for the puppy, she growled and turned into her werewolf form, holding it in one of her arms. “The boy’s been bitten, he’s mine for now,” she scolded before cuddling him into her fur and kissing him on the forehead. Whatever form she took, the child would take as well for the next few weeks. She strut away from the male soldiers, for she was a wolf prize to be coveted. she was the alpha female’s first daughter, meaning that one day she would take the colony. Any wolf that pursued her was annoying true, but not in the wrong. she knew that children could not eat human flesh at birth or at this point in his transformation, so she would have to return to the human village and walk among them in order to buy some fruit and animal meat. She was not to waste her time hunting for small prey, when the humans would give it to her for a shiny piece of metal.

She had dropped the bodies off, so she was not permitted to do something at her leisure. She coddled the child and head towards one of the trees, which was an elevator to the ground level. An easy trick that was copied from the old human society. Lora exited the wolf city and sprinted once more back to the human land to search for a vender from which to buy food for the were-puppy. As she walked the streets she heard a woman crying into the sky, , shouting something about her husband being dead. Bitten perhaps by the sound of it, which meant there was a vamp in the area. She would not miss an opportunity to kill a vampire, even if she did have an alternate agenda.

Alis walked straight ahead down the dark street. The towns condition was very bad, old buildings and houses falling apart, a few of them appearing to have been burned down but never touched since. This was one of the few areas of town that hadn't been completely destroyed by bombs and other warfare. A body lay scattered across the pavement just up ahead catching Alis' eye for barely more than a second. She had grown used to being surrounded by death, of all races. Something deep within her gave her the feeling that she wasn't the only non-human in the area at this time of night however, and she glanced around nervously. The hand blade was still tightly fit over her fingers in case she would need it.

Lora felt a deep churning as she picked up the distinct scent of one or maybe two female vampires. Her fangs sharpened between her lips and she set off for the hunt, and a kill.

"Shit," she whispered softly to herself, glancing around still. She couldn't see anyone from where she was yet she knew someone else was there. She stepped once again into the darkest shadows she could find and stayed there for a moment, waiting silently. When she was almost positive no one was in view she glided into one of the allys that was close by. Leaning against the wall she tried thinking of the quickest way possible to get out of this part of town. In the corner of her eye she caught movement of some sort and froze. It could have been anything or anyone but she had the feeling that whatever it was, it wanted to kill her.

Lora emerged from the shadows beside the girl who had the distinct scent of the living dead, of vampire. "What are you doing in lycan territory?" She threatened as she blocked the girls way out of the city. This was her home town, her hunting ground, so she was more comfortable killing and fighting here than anywhere else, giving her the advantage. "Your just a kid," she said with a little surprise as she analyzed the young girl that stood before her, could she have been mistaken? "Someone as small as you should not be out here by themselves so early in the morning, especially by yourself," she growled lightly as she tried to make positive the scent in case this was just a human, which she doubted.

"You underestimate me," Alis replied, annoyed by the immediate judging of her appearance. She played with the hand blade behind her back. Now that the lycan was standing before her she had no reason to be nervous anymore and anger rose deep within her voice. "Plus, this is human territory, anyone who wants can feed in this region" she hissed. "Now step out of my way."

Malcolm had been following Vamp #24 ever since she'd left her day-time residence earlier that night. He'd heard rumors that this one might be dangerous. His fears had been justified after she had slaughtered the poor human male; though maybe she wasn't entirely evil, even the dead need to feed. Her pale figure moved along the street lanes as she made her way through the human settlement. He hoped this one would be different than the others. Her aura struck out to him as a being not wholly evil but dangerous indeed. "Don't let your feelings get in the way of what needs to be done," Mal chided himself. He needed to be steadfast in his job of protecting the good people of this world but sometimes things weren't so black and white as he'd like to imagine. Good could manifest in even the most beastly creature, right? Mal threw away his wandering thoughts and put his mind on the task at hand. #24 had stopped dead in her tracks and seemed to be speaking to someone. As he fixed himself into a better position to see, he realized she was speaking to another female, human, vamp, wolf? He couldn't tell. He brought out his binoculars and noted down the other females features into his journal. It seemed the night has turned out more interesting than he had originally believed.

Lora's arm shot out against the wall to ensure that the girl didn't pass her. "I will let you go, since you are just a kid, but you have to tell me somethings first. One, are you leading your coven here to hunt, because one vamp is enough I don't need to take out a whole clan," she growled calmly. She didn't get too much of a reaction from the girl, meaning she wasn't hostile or she would have attacked. Her ears twitched as she felt a prescence and picked up a scent above her. Her eyes narrowed as she knewt ehy were being watched. "Look, I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me," she leaned in to whisper to the girl. "You were being hunted and you led the killer here, so you are gonna help me lead him away from MY pack," she said only soft enough for another non human to hear.

Alis was not amused. "No. I am not leading my coven here, however I do not control any other vampires actions and therefore have no say over who comes here. I do know that no other vampire has been following me," she said in a monotone voice. She looked over the womans shoulder impatiently waiting for her to move her arm. "And just so you know- I am no kid," she hissed. "Look, everyone in this area will be hunting me if they are smart. I am not discrete when I kill and I am sure the humans have noticed and I can only expect that they are following me. You are doing no good by restraining me from leaving this area at once." She sighed, realising this girl would not let her go this easily. "Why is it you need my help?"

"Fuck what are they talking about?" Mal whispered as he eyed the pair conversing in the street light. He used his Hunter insight to sense the aura of the other female, which gave off the familiar scent of canine. "Dammit!" he thought, "Lupus maximus. Fucking werewolves. Well don't worry, I got some silver for your furry ass if you give me any trouble. He didn't want to get involved with a lycan tonight; he had planned on studying #24's movements and intentions before making any further decisions or plans. "Well they ain't bad looking when you gals take a form I'm used to." he mused. This would make things tricky. Usually they'd be at eachother throats by now. What's keeping them? And then he got the severe feeling that he was in serious danger.

"Hunters are smart, tricky, chances are you are his new investment, meaning coming here led him here. If...in fact he follows either of us, then both of us are in danger," she growled. "So, I need you to either get as far from here as you can as fast as you can or I need you to help me kill him," she whispered all too soft for human ears. She felt her hand clench into a fist as it fell to her side and allowed the girl a path if she chose to run or a form of compromise.

Alis' eyes narrowed as she glanced around the corner past the girls arm. She sighed, "Fine. What do you want me to do?" she asked, her eyes fixed on the werewolf's. She usually didn't make agreements like this but knew that if she didn't, the werewolf girl could be right and she could be in possible danger. Plus she was in the mood to fight and didn't really mind. Afterall, this human could turn out to be some fun.

She thought deeply for a moment, lost in the girls eyes as she thought and strained to formulate a decent plan. "I will take my wolf form and run ahead, you reveal that you know of the hunter and attack him. Lead him to where my scent is coming from and we can trap him and find out what the hell he is doing in our neck of the woods. If we don't like the answer, kill him, if he is harmles give him a warning and we slip off the radar for a while."

Why are the two not killing each other by now? thought Malcolm. He didn't feel very fortunate or as confident in this endeavor any more. Though he did find it interesting; to find the level of desperation in these two enemy species so as to compose a temporary alliance. He had to give it to the Creatures. Maybe some could in fact be saved. Though right now he had a bigger problem to deal with.
He gathered up all his loose items; journals, binoculars, pen, and decided to find better ground. He leaped from his current position down into the fire escape of the building that was previously a lively apartment, now abandoned. After reaching the ground level he rushed two blocks to an alley way he knew quite well and rushed to the dumpster. Using a considerable amount of strength for his age, he pushed back the dumpster revealing the concealed Ninja bike. No humans came this far out, so he felt safe concealing the motorcycle here. He made fast the positioning of everything and drove off into the street where he saw one of the females; whichever one, he couldn't tell at this speed...!

She sighed again. "Sure," she said breaking eye contact and walking quickly past the girl and into the street. "He's on the move."
Staring straight ahead, Alis quietly walked down the sidewalk, looking around every once in a while. The scent of the man was still strong, and she was still able to follow it. She glanced back at the werewolf once more, nodding as if saying "Meet up with you in a few minutes", and then disappeared behind one of the buildings. Far in the distance she heard something moving other than foot steps and cursed lightly under her breath realizing that the human she was tracking must have some sort of bike or motorcycle. This gave her a slight disadvantage, and she looked around as if trying to figure out what to do.
A ladder. A strong metal ladder that was attatched to the side of one of the buildings within the ally. She jumped towards it, reaching her hands out and gripping the sides tightly before pulling herself up and climbing to the roof. Looking over the side, she saw the human speeding off down one of the streets into the distance. Her eyes narrowed. At least she knew where she was headed now.
Alis walked straight to the edge of the building and pushed off the edge, gracefully letting herself drop the good 80 feet or so to the ground. Her boots absorbed the shock as she came into contact with the surface, and she kneeled to the ground catching herself with both hands. Her head shot up and her legs straightened. She was facing in the direction her "hunter" went, and her eyes seemed fixed on the target although he was out of view. She took off running, reaching an unhumanly speed, not quite faster than a motorcycle but pretty close, giving her a fair chance to catch up to the man.

Lora knelt down to bring her chest closer to the ground so that her face was inches away from the dirty pavement. Both the scents of the vampiress and the hunter were still potent in the still air as she sniffed the air with great determination. She kicked off her the heel of her shoe to send her body lunging through the air, her shoulders slicing through the electric air as she took off towards the meeting point. If the vampiress could catch up to the hunter and veer him on course towards her, then she would be awaiting their arrival. She, in her wolf form, was perfectly capable of keeping up with a motorcycle, but only for a small extent of time. Regardless, when the time came she was prepared to take him and the motorcycle to the ground. As she jolted, her pale skin became a dash of white lightning as if became the startling arctic fur. Her shoulders curved mid stride and her legs became paws as she took her were-form.

She reached a point decently far away fromt he town, where the two raods intersected at a fork beside a large charred buildboard. She looked up at the platform of the pole and buildboard above her and began jumping on the rungs of the ladder until she reached the platform. She could see the dust rising from the abandoned road, knowing the gaseous scent tand the scent of human was growing nearer to her. Her eyes narrowed into thin slits and she stretched her shoulders, her vision hoaning in on the target as she prepared to sneak attack.

Alis was soon close enough for the human to see her if he was paying attention to his surroundings. She was coming towards him at a slight angle, speeding up as she quickly approached her target. When she felt she was within about 20 meters she slowed down to a normal speed, standing in the shadow of one of the buildings so he could no longer see her. She waited for the human to possibly react, trying to guess what he would do now that he possibly saw her. She had a slight smirk on her face, watching closely.

Mal knew he was being closely pursued and he wasn't sure of the intention of the taunting manner displayed by his pursuer. He decided to try something and unexpectedly halted the bike in a sweeping pattern stopping the graceful vampire dead(or undead) in her tracks. Mentally prepared for anything, he asked, "Why exactly are you following me on this fine night, miss?"

"Why have you been watching me?" She asked sternly. "I was able to sense you back there." she added, casually stepping forward, and staring at the man.
